SSB 2m Contact 170km
Today 2 Jan 2023, at about 08:00 ,myself ZS1COR had some coffee and went into my shack,playing on the bands, spoken on CB, and 2m.
Eventually getting a QSO from Hugo in Bree River on 145.600.
I checked on the inset side and could here Hugo about a S3 , and we decided to go on SSB 2m 144.300.
Well first my audio was a bit distorted but after adjusting some knobs we spoke nicely on 2m SSB.
This is so my longest QSO, on 2m SSB. Very chuffed about this one.
Well done Hugo with his home brew Yagi and my diamond X200.
